Problem
Gonka has funded three offline appearances so far. Every one of them was a business conference.
- #42 – a scientific panel at the Global Compute Sovereignty Summit in Tashkent. 10,000 USDT. Passed 68.6% with zero NO and zero VETO.
- #51 – Platinum presence at WebX Asia in Tokyo. 75,000 USDT. Passed 62.8%.
- Token2049 Singapore – sponsor of a partner side-summit.
Ministers, funds, chipmakers, integrators. All valuable. All B2B.
In none of them did the network do the one thing a decentralized network is supposed to do: put its own community in the same room. Not a booth for strangers – a room for hosts, miners, pool participants, developers and holders who have been running this network together for a year and have never once shaken hands.
And there is a second gap. By public governance records and public announcements, Gonka has never held a funded event anywhere in Russia – the region where the largest and most active share of the community actually lives. The Russian-speaking segment maintains its own chat, its own knowledge bases, its own mining pools, and shows up in almost every community initiative on this platform. It has never been visited.
Critics of Gonka have used the CIS concentration as an argument against the project. This proposal turns it into an asset instead.
Proposal
Allocate 20,000 USDT from the Community Pool so Gonka becomes the AI Partner of Omniverse Web3 Camp – a two-day digital-culture festival on August 25–26, 2026 at the Brusnitsyn creative cluster in St. Petersburg: 3,000 m² of festival area, 1,000 m² EXPO, a 200 m² terrace lounge on the Gulf of Finland.
This is not a logo on a banner. It is a fully built, branded Gonka space plus stage time plus the festival's marketing surface.
What Gonka gets
| Asset | Detail |
|---|---|
| Gonka Terrace Lounge · 200 m² | Named, fully branded lounge on the waterfront terrace – bar, navigation, menu, furnishing. Turnkey: concept, design, production, build. |
| Bar & service | Drinks and light catering for guests, DJ program across both days |
| EXPO booth · 12 m² | Branded back wall and counter in the central EXPO zone – demos, onboarding, consultations |
| Stage program | Expert talk (15–25 min) + panel discussion (45 min). Proposed topics: "Who powers AI: why compute decides the future of artificial intelligence" and "Who will own AI: corporations, developers, or users?" |
| Website integration | Large interactive banner on the festival site with custom visual and CTA. Can be wired to a Gonka campaign – an AI hackathon, a grant call, a host-onboarding funnel |
| Tickets for the community | 5 VIP + 20 Standard, distributed to community members and contributors |
| Brand presence | Logo across festival site and materials; the branded zone becomes the backdrop for guest photos, interviews and posts |
Reach around the event: 500+ Web3 creators invited (many of whom skip standard industry conferences), plus coverage from Cointelegraph, BeInCrypto, bits.media and other industry media. Aster DEX is making its first large-scale appearance in Russia at the same festival with a Trading Arena and a $15,000 prize pool – the event pulls a serious crypto-native crowd, not a general tech audience.
Not included: merch production. The organizer can handle design-to-print locally in St. Petersburg, but that is quoted separately and is not part of this 20,000 USDT ask.
Why this matters to the network, not just the brand
GPU capacity. Russia and the CIS have cheap power and a mature mining and datacenter industry that is actively looking for what comes after Bitcoin ASICs. These are exactly the people Gonka needs: operators who already own racks, already understand uptime, and can bring real H100-class capacity on-chain. A terrace lounge is where that conversation happens over two days, repeatedly, with the same people coming back – not in a 90-second booth pitch.
Developers. Two stage slots and a booth in front of an audience that builds. Track 2 of the approved Network Development Roadmap is developer and AI-agent access; this is direct distribution for it.
Demand activation (Track 11). The site banner can point at whatever the community decides matters most – a hackathon, a grant call, an onboarding funnel – and it is measurable.
Community coordination (Track 12). Governance participation on this network is thin. Proposal #85 died on a 7.6% turnout. Communities that have met in person vote. That is not a slogan, it is the cheapest governance fix available.
People, not handles
The part that does not fit in a KPI table.
Everyone here has been a wallet address to everyone else for a year. Miners who debug each other's nodes at 3 a.m. have never met. The team is a set of GitHub avatars and a voice on a podcast.
The terrace lounge is deliberately informal – a bar, seating, the Gulf of Finland, DJ sets, no badge hierarchy. Two days where hosts, developers, pool operators and the team talk as people. You are part of this community; come be in it.
That is a strange thing to put a number on. It is also the thing every durable network eventually does, and Gonka has not done it yet.
Why 20,000 USDT
Benchmarked against what this network has already approved:
| Proposal | What | Ask |
|---|---|---|
| #42 | One sponsored panel discussion, Tashkent | 10,000 USDT |
| #51 | Event execution at WebX Tokyo | 75,000 USDT |
| This | 200 m² built lounge + 12 m² booth + 2 stage slots + site integration + 25 tickets, 2 days | 20,000 USDT |
Twice the price of a single panel slot, for a physically built space the network holds for two full days – plus stage time, a booth, and the festival's own marketing surface.
Commitments
We know the pattern this community is tired of: money out the door, no way to check what came back. Proposal #74 said it plainly – 300k+ USDT of marketing spend with no unified way to verify results. So:
- The build happens in public. From the moment this is approved until the doors open, production of the Gonka zone is documented in the festival channel – t.me/omniversefest. Renders, construction, branding, stage lineup. You do not wait until September to find out whether the money turned into anything; you watch it turn into something.
- Public post-event report in GitHub Discussions within 14 days: expense breakdown, attendance, contacts collected, media pickup, photo and video. Same reporting commitment 6Block made in #51.
- On-chain and traceable. Standard
withdraw_ibcfrom the community-sale contract, same execution path as #42 and #51. One address, publicly visible. - No MLM. No pool-selling. No referral schemes anywhere in the Gonka zone or on the Gonka stage. This community has been dealing with pyramid schemes attaching themselves to Gonka's name for months. The Gonka space at this festival will carry official information and official onboarding only.
- Tickets go to the community, not to the organizer's guest list.
- This is not our first one. The same team ran 0xFest last year – the video recap and photos are on the final page of the deck. The venue, the media pipeline and the influencer network for this festival are already contracted.
Who is delivering this
OURO Collective – the creative and technical team producing the festival. 3+ years in Web3 events, 20+ projects, 100+ media partnerships. Previously delivered event and brand work with OKX, Bitget, WEEX, Backpack, Solayer, Pudgy Penguins, MEXC and others. The venue, the build, the media pipeline and the influencer network are already contracted – Gonka is buying into an event that is happening regardless, at partner rates, not funding one from zero.
Timing
The festival is on August 25–26. Production lead time on a 200 m² built zone is real. This pre-vote closes August 8, which leaves enough room for an on-chain Community Pool proposal and for the build.
This is a hard deadline. There is no version of this that slips a month.
Vote YES if
You think a network run by its community should have met its community at least once, and that the region with the most hosts and the most active chat is a reasonable place to start – at a price below both previously approved event proposals, with the build documented publicly from day one and a full report after.
Vote NO if
You think the Community Pool should not fund offline events at all, or that 20,000 USDT is better spent on infrastructure right now. Both are legitimate. Say so in the comments and the number can be reworked before this goes on-chain.
Either way – vote. Proposal #85 failed at 7.6% turnout. Silence is the only outcome nobody wants.

Cointelegraph, BeInCrypto, bits.media.
